Thanks much for your answers and your focus on those answers...

It doesn't matter to me much if I ask Ten separate questions or ask Ten
sub-questions as long as either helps me to get my job done.

I also believe it a better use of time to 'ask' first than to spend more
time 'digging out' later.

So I'll talk with MS-Technet about how they can make these newsgroups better
geared to that approach. In just browsing the newsgroup entries, I agree
that most of the posts are focused in that direction. Maybe that's why MS
and MS products get such a bad reputation... a reactive rather than proactive
attitude toward problem resolution.
