RE: ADMT User Profile Translation

Good info Jason. It is a due to what appear to be a failures according to the local DCTLog.

For the rest of the community, I also wanted to offer a link to how we've been remediating in this situation:

Thanks again,

Hello Jason,

Hi Pete,

Thanks for posting!

ADMT has no limitation regarding max user profile size. Actually, ADMT
do not migrate physical user profile but just perform SIDs
translation. I wonder if all the large profile experienced this issue
and if there is any error occurred. Does it create a new user profile
when logging on to the new domain? Per your current situation, you may
use Robocopy to migrate these failed user profile.

Some information for your reference:

Hope the information helps. If there is anything that is unclear,
please feel free to let me know.

Thanks & Regards,

Jason Tan

| Does ADMT have a max user profile size it is capable of translating?

| We are in the midst of an NT 4.0 domain consolidation, and while
most

large
