Thanks for the reply.
I understand that your concern is the DNS scavenging settings. It is the
optional step in the KB article. Generally speaking, this will not affect
the upgrade process.
You can set it and wait for 7 days as the article suggests. The setting
means that if the DNS server cannot detect an entry for 7 days, the entry
will be deleted. That way, the aged DNS objects will be cleared.
