Thanks for the reply.
Yes, your understanding is right. Related Group Policy allows sharing of
the network printer. It doesn't install the printer for users.
If we use group policy to deploy a printer, let us say, we deploy a logon
script in which we add a printer, then the printer will be installed when
the user logs on. It is true that the script will be running every time the
user logs on. This is in case that the user logs on to another machine
which he didn't install a printer.
Since printer is installed per user, please deploy a logon script to an OU
of a user group.
