Migrating to Windows Server 2003
I currently run a Windows 2000 server as a member server in a domain. I have
acquired another server that is running Windows server 2003. I want to
replace the Windows 2000 server with the new 2003 server. I want the 2003 to
have the same name.
I have 24 printers installed and shared on the current Windows 2000 server.
Is there a way or tool to use to migrate the printers to the Windows server
2003 server without reinstalling the printers?
Also what is the best way to move the 8 shared folders on the Windows 2000
server to the new Windows server 2003 while maintaining the existing rights
and permissions on the folder when it gets to Windows server 2003 server?
Thank you,
Oludan
