RE: after in-place upgrade sql need to re-join domain

Hello,

Thanks for your response.

In the screen shot, I can see that they now have to choose matching item
when adding domain users and now they need to input the
\domainname\username. However, when prior to the upgrade all they entered
was the user name. Is my understanding right?

Based on my experience, this issue is caused by the wrong Netbios name. To
resolve this kind of issue, we only can use the two methods I have
mentioned in my previous post. Therefore, please take the time and
patience in performing my suggestions.

If there is anything unclear or you have any other questions related the
issue, please feel free to let me know.

Thanks & Regards

Amanda Wang [MSFT]
