Thanks for your post.
I understand that you found the Microsoft games in accessories in Windows
server 2003.
Based on my experience, this is a by design behavior. Windows 2003 Server
is a server product and intends to play the server role in the network. For
the security reason, by default there is no game's utility in win2k3 server
and it is not recommend playing games on Server for security and
performance purpose. Generally speaking, there are some more built-in
games in WinXP machine for entertainment.
Meanwhile, I have performed a test and found it works on my side. You can
copy the specific game's ".exe" file from Windows XP to Win2k3 server. For
example, copy %SystemRoot%\system32\freecell.exe file to Windows 2003
server and double-click on it, it works. Therefore, we can know the games
program can be run independently.
