Hello,
Thanks for your post.
I understand you encountered an error related to Dr Watson when upgrading
from NT4 to Win2k3.
>From your description, this issue seems to be very strange and complex.
Also I have performed some research on this issue but found nothing
helpful. Therefore, please help me collect the screen shots of the
detailed error information on your side and directly send to me at
v-amanwa@xxxxxxxxxxxxx so that I can perform further research on this
issue. The following information is mainly required:
1. I get an error message statinf that the Dr Watson directory cannot be
found, the error message prompts me to press the 'ok' button to choose
another message.
2. Instead an additional error message appears stating that the lsaa.exe
program has terminated and that the program will have to be restarted.
3. After hitting the only available button on this error message, setup
appears to continue, I still have the 5 green boxes cycling through on the
bottom right hand side of the screen and the messages are changing in the
main body of the screen, Windows 2003 Server is more dependable type
messages, etc.
Thanks for your time and effort on this issue. If there is any new
findings or you have any other concerns related this issue, please feel
free to let me know. I'm looking forward to your reply.
Thanks & Regards
Amanda Wang [MSFT]
