RE: Problem with DC after 2003 SBS to 2003 Std. migration

Hi Max,
Thanks for update and patient!
Please excuse for the delay!
On the current situation, please let us fix these errors firstly. Based on
my research, this is an issue of timing. The DNS errors were caused because
DNS polled Active Directory during a period that AD was locked for Online
Deframentation.
I would like to provide you with following information for your reference:
198793 The Active Directory Database Garbage Collection Process
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=198793
Please help me know the result and if these errors can be resolved. If so,
please attempt to install MOM again.
Hope the information helps. If there is anything that is unclear, please
feel free to let me know.
Thanks & Regards,
Jason Tan

| Jason,
|
| Thanks for your reply.

| The old SBS 2003 server is totally dead and can't be brought online again.
|
| I had already seized all the FSMO roles a few days ago. According to the
| netdom query FSMO, the new server holds all FSMO roles.
|
| I still have problems with MOM not detecting it as a PDC or BDC and I am
