Frances,
Thanks for the info. I am assuming Emulator Role will allow me to keep my
nt4 BDC? Otherwise if I migrate my old nt4 PDC to a new win2k3 PDC I will no
longer have a BDC unless I add win2k3 BDC? Once I get the everything migrated
to the win2k3 domain do I really need the nt4 domain anymore? My domain is
small and I would kind of like to start fresh, rather than have a mismatch of
nt4 and win2k3 servers. Right now I have:
1 - nt4 PDC
1 - nt4 BDC
1 - win2k SQL server
26 - win2k pro desktops
6 - nt4 desktops
3 - xp pro desktops
2 - win95 desktops
I would like to end up with 1 win2k3 PDC and 1 win2k3 BDC. It seems like
migrating to a new domain will give me what I want. I am just concerned what
happens to the "old" nt4 domain after the migration.
