Hello,

Based on my further research, xcopy can also copy the folder NTFS
permissions, robocopy is the enhanced version of xcopy. Therefore, I don't
think it is better than robocopy. You can use the Windows 2000 Resource Kit
tool robocopy.exe with the "/SEC" switch to copy the folders with their
NTFS permissions.


Does robocopy not fulfill your need or do you have any other special target
to fulfill?

In the meantime, there is another commonly used command called subinacl.
Generally, this command is used if you want to replace userA to UseB in
NTFS permission. Subinacl can also backup and restore the file ACLs,
control file NTFS permissions. I would give you the following links about
