RE: ADMT v2 Error while migrating a computer

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi Dwayne,

Thanks for posting!

---Example should I be able to login from a machine in the NT4 domain with
an account that only exists in the AD domain while having the domain on the
client point to the NT4 domain? Or do I have to point the client to the AD
domain and use the AD account?

I would like to make some clarification here. You may have to login AD
domain with the account existing in Active Directory and login NT4.0 domain
with the account existing in NT4 even though the trust relationship has
been established between the two domains. However, you may login AD domain
with AD account on the machine in Windows NT domain, Vice versa.
