RE: FPNW Windows 2003 SBS Netware 4.2

Thanks for the information but can't seem to find anything about fine tuning
the Novell Client. My problem is that I have a working Novell 4.2 enviroment,
no Groupwise, and would like to add a Win2003 SBS to the network, seen as a
Novell Server (for now). Microsoft documentation and all of the threads I
have read says that this should be so easy with FPNW, just don't understand
what I am doing wrong.

When I tried to setup the Win2003 SBS with IPX only, no TCP/IP, Server would
not boot. Tried to disable Microsoft File and Print Sharing on Server, cause
all kinds of problems. Do not believe WINS or DNS could be cauing this
problem, they were both installed with the default configuration, no changes
on my part.

The Win2003 SBS has the Novel Client, 4.9 SP2, loaded with FPNW 5.03 SP2,
per Microsoft Documentation. The internal and external Network IPX numbers
are set manually. A login script MAPs the Volumes (default settings), They
are not set up as Microsoft shares. MAP drive gives error somtimes in login
script but even when no error occurs I still get an error when I try to
access the mapped drive or through Network Places, no resourse avaiable, or
something like that.

And all of this in my test enviroment, no Novell 4.2 Server seen. The
Clients, 4.9 SP2, connect to the Novell Server fine, they are part of our
working Network, I just unplug the Novel Server from the Switch in my area
and enable the NIC on the Win2003 SBS to do my testing.
