Driveless workstations going from NT 4 to 2003 domain

We have 7 workstations currently logging into our NT 4 domain using TFTP'd
boot image files and 3Com Bootware chips installed on the NICs and no disk
drives. These are setup using the Network Client Administrator in NT with
some editing of the autoexec.bat and config.sys files. When these stations
log into the domain they:

1. Receive an IP address tied to the MAC in DHCP.
2. Download the image file and run the autoexec/config files.
3. Somehow get 7 network drives automatically mapped
4. Are able to run batch programs from a sub-folder of one of the mapped
drives

I now have a 2003 server that I have managed to get the NT Network Client
Administrator installed onto the 2003 box (see Q325848). When I try to setup
one of these driveless workstations for the same fundtion in our 2003 domain
they:

1. Receive an IP address tied to the MAC in DHCP.
2. Download the image file and run the autoexec/config files.

However, the shared drives are not automatically mapped. When I map them by
hand, I still can't run the batch files without a lot of "cd\test\batch"
type of DOS commands. The NT environment does not require this, the batch
programs run when you type in the name of the batch file. There is nothing
in the autoexec files which governs this and the login script for the user
is only for auditing software when the user logs in on a Windows OS
workstation.

Is there anyplace else I need to look within NT? Or is 2003 security
road-blocking me?

Thanks
m
