Hello Leszek,
Good to hear from you.
According to your message, you have exported user information from the
win2k server. Is it a member server or a domain? Things are different
concerning the two scenarios.
What did you use to export users from win2k server?
Domain scenario:
=============
If the win2k is a domain controller, and you have a win2k domain, Microsoft
provides many tools to migrate users from win2k to win2k3 domains.
As Herb suggested, you can choose ADMTv2 to migrate users or use LDIFDE or
CSVDE tools.
1. ADMT
With ADMT, in the User Migration Wizard, you can migrate user accounts with
Sidhistory if you wish. Also you can modify the states of the user accounts
in the source and target domain.
You can download ADMT from the link below:
Windows 2000 Active Directory Migration Tool
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/tools/admt/default.asp
You can use the tool to migrate users, computers and security from the
source domain to the target domain. You can have more information in the
article below.

2. LDIFDE

3. CSVDE
CSVDE performs the same export functions as LDIFDE, but uses a
comma-separated file format. Import operations with CSVDE are added only,
and CSVDE does not offer the ability to modify or delete objects. The CSV
file format is supported by applications such as Microsoft Excel.

Member server scenario:

standalone servers.
