The BDC will replicate from the DC which is the PDC
Emulator.
IF the BDC is on a different subnet (or network) then
likely you will need WINS Server (and ALL machines
including DCs/BDCs will need to be WINS clients.)
How many subnets?
If more than one subnet, do you have WINS server?
If you have WINS Server, are all the DCs WINS clients
on their NIC->IP properties->Advanced->WINS/NetBIOS.
