I have a question about making the switch to Native mode. I have a windows
mix mode domain with 2 windows 2000 domain controllers and I also have one nt
4.0 domain controller with exchange 5.5 installed on it. We installed
exchange 2000 in the domain and are slowly trying to moce to exchange 2000.
In order to make the transition easier we need the domain to be native. My
question specifically is if I switch the domain to native will the nt 4.0 bdc
become a memeber server and remain part of the domain or will it be orpaned
from the domain and lose its membership altogether.
