Hello,
According to your description, it is more like a networking issue. However
you can try the suggestions below to check.
Suggestion 1:
=========================================================
Please make sure the clients are now accessing shares on the new server.
One possible cause of your issue is , the folders in My Network Places on
client computers are not migrated to the new server. They are still pointed
to the old server.
Suggestion 2:
===========================================================
You can also try \\<server name> or \\<server IP> to access the server
share and see if there are speed differences.
Hope it helps. It the problem persists, please post it in the
microsoft.public.windows.networking queue for more accurate suggestions.
------------------
Thank you and have a nice day!
Best regards,
