    Hi,

    Thanks for replying.

May I describe your inquiry as following?

1.You want to migrate everything to the new domain and then change the
domain name same as the old one with the NT 4 domain.
    Yes this is possible.

    2. What do you need to do while using the ADMT to migrate everything and
then do a domain rename with the random.exe utility.
Since you do not want to use the upgrade, this is the only way for your to
achieve the aim. Please use the random.exe to rename domain after
    migration.

    Sincerely,
    Carsyn Gu

    | Thanks for your reply: Clarification- What I meant by unplugging is I
    will
    | not be utilizing the old boxes w/ NT 4.0 on them at all. I am getting
    rid of
    | them completely.
    | But when I am gathering the info. from 4.0 via the ADMT tool I have the
    new
    | 2003 server on a different domain w/ trusts built.
    | I am not doing an "upgrade" but rather a clean install of 2003 on a new
    box,
    | using ADMT to bring over users, groups etc. My problem lies when I want
    to
    | go "live" on my new 2003. I was hoping for an easy domain rename option,
    I
    | will read the link regarding that and hope it will work.
    | I did not choose to install NT 4.0 on the new server because of all the
    | incompatibility issues w/ drivers and hardware issues etc. I thought it
    | would be easier for a clean install and move info. Open for your
    | advice.....thanks for your help.
