Hi Curt,

Do you mean you want to allow different user see different folder? For
example, a folder named HOME contains three folders called user1Folder,
user2Folder and user3Folder.

You want to a user1 only sees user1Folder, user2 only sees user2Folder and
user3 only see user3Folder?
Unfortunately, we cannot achieve this goal. When you list the folder HOEM,
the system will query HOME's properties and list all subfolders. This
design is for performance purpose. You can use the following workaround to
deny the permission. For example, if you only want to user2 to open
user2Folder, you can only right click user1Folder, in both NTFS and Sharing
permission, delete all users and only grant user1 permission, do the same
steps to user2Folder to grant user2, user3Folder to grant user3. therefore,
user2 cannot open user1Folder and user3Folder.

Another workaround is not to share HOME folder, only share user1Folder,
user2Folder and user3Folder, grant the corresponding permission to three
folders.

In addition, I understand you have another issue. However, in order to keep
the thread clean, we discuss one issue per thread. Please open up a new
thread to discuss issue. Thank you for your understanding.

Any update, let us get in touch!
