Problems with 2003 interim mode!!

I migrated from NT4 PDC to W2k3 Server in interim mode,
because I still have some NT4-BDCs running. What I wanted
to do next is to promote a windows 2000 memberserver to a
domain controller in the fresh installed 2003 Active
Directory. I did not know before that w2k is not able to
join a w2k3 in interim mode! Now I do... :-(

Any suggestions? (Well, I don`t have a further W2k3
Server to install, so this is unfortunately no solution
for me!)

Thank you very much for answering!
