Thanks so much Bill.
I just have a couple more questions.
replicating DNS- How? or since I will be taking the 2000
dc offline will the 2003 automatically take on the role
as dns server?
Same with DHCP. If I replicate it and then take the 2000
offline will the 2003 automatically take over the role?
(My goal is to make the 2003 the primary dns and dhcp).
Also, how do I replicate the sysvol and make the 2003 the
primary).
I am running AD group policies on the 2000. At some
point I changed the sysvol (share) to my F: drive because
my C: drive was running low on disk space. (so that group
policies would not take up diskspace on the c:) but now I
can't remember where I changed that and how I did it.
Could you give me step by step instructions on moving or
replicating:
DNS
DHCP
SYSvol
In other words, when I configure the 2003 should I use
the wizard at start up or configure these items later.
I just want to make sure everything is setup correctly
before I turn off the 2000 dc.
Thanks again for all your help. It was really easy to
follow.
