    Hi Larry,

    What kind of role you want to the original DC play? I mean, if the old DC
    named nt.com and the new DC called win2k.com, do you want to migrate all
    accounts and data from nt.com to win2k.com, run two DCs simultaneously and
    retire the nt.com? Do you want to allow the new DC eventually to be in
    charge of the network? If so, I suggest you use the following process:

    1. Setup a new Windows Server 2003 DC in the new domain.

    2. Create the trust relationship between the two domains.

    3. Use the ADMT to migrate data from the old domain to the new domain.

    4. Transfer FSMO from NT to win2k3 if you want to retain the original DHCP
    and DNS setting.
    Using Ntdsutil.exe to seize or transfer FSMO roles to a domain controller

    5. Remove the original NT 4 domain.

    Before you migrate, I strongly suggest that you download and read the
