Hello,

I agree with John's opinion that you built a new win2k3 forest root domain
and use ADMT to migrate user from NT domain to win2k3.

According to my experience, ADMT is a convenience tool to migrate users,
computers and other objects from NT domain to win2k3. For example, you can
use the User Account Migration Wizard with friendly UI to migrate users
from NT to win2k3.

The general steps are as follows:
1. Create Trust between NT and win2k3.
2. Add the win2k3 admin group to NT admin groups
3. Install ADMT on win2k3 machine.
4. Right click Active Directory Migration Tool and choose User Account
Migration Wizard
5. Follow the wizard to migrate users. During the migration, you will be
prompted to enable audit on both machines, please choose Yes to enable
auditing.

NOTE: You need to raise the win2k3 domain function level to Native Mode.
