Hi,

Yes, you are right Functional levels are an extension of the mixed/native
mode concept introduced in Microsoft Windows 2000.

Please take a look at the article I mentioned in my previous mail.

322692 How To Raise Domain and Forest Functional Levels in Windows Server
2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=322692

It has the section discussed the whole four Domain Funtional Levels and
their corresponding features.

Have a nice day!

Thanks & Regards,

| Hi - Thanks for the reply.
|
| I understood that Windows 2000 Native mode supports SidHistory, but what
I
| would like to know is if anyone know for sure that Windows Server 2003
| Functional Level (supposedly a superset of W2K native mode) supports
| SidHistory?
|
| Thanks.
