Hello Ian,

Thank you for your post, and also thanks to Herb for the inputs.

If we can use IP address to access the remote computers successfully, it
indicates that it is a name resolution issue. We should be able to resolve
the problem by checking the VPN server settings to ensure that the VPN
clients get the correct DNS and WINS server.

We can open the VPN server's properties in the RRAS snap-in and check the
settings on the "IP" tab to ensure that the VPN clients will get the
correct DNS and WINS configurations.
