Hello Keith,

Thank you for your post. Also thanks to Mote for the input.

The displayname is also a user attribute. You can use the new Windows
Server 2003 Directory Services commandline tool DSMOD.exe to adjust the
users' displayname in a batch file. This will be an efficient solution
especially if there are a large number of user account.

For more information about the DSMOD.exe tool, please run the following
command:

dsmod user /?

Or refer to Help and Support on the Start menu

Another solution is to coding an ADSI program. Unfortuantely, this
newsgroup is primarily for break-fix situations. The issues include custom
coding/programming, scripting, design/implementation type of issues would
best be addressed in the Developer newsgroups. If your developer team need
further assistance when programming the application, you are welcome to use
our Developer newsgroups.

For your convenience, I have provided the link below:

Or you may ask for developer support:

By posting there, you may get some pointers from others who may have had
similar experience that they can share with you.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to let me know. I am happy to be of further assistance. Thank you
for your time and cooperation!

|You will need to edit the user-Display in the Configuration Container.
|The easiest way is to use admodify.net to make a bulk change.
