| I have completed a inplace upgrade from nt 4.0 to w2003.
| All is working well. The client machines as well as the
| W2003 DC have the old "single Label" domain name in the
| login screen. During the upgrade I renamed the forest and
| domain to a domain.com from the "single label". To get the
| new domain name to appear on the client and DC logon
| screen do I have to remove the machine from the old domain
| and join it to the new domain.com domain? Is there any
| ramifications to profiles, permissions etc. I also still
| have to migrate from Exchange 5.5 in the single label
| domain to a exchange 2003 server in the new domain.com
| domain should I wait until this is complete before joining
| the machines to the new domain.com domain? I still have
| the nt 4.0 running with the new 2003 DC.
