I have tried to transfer the roles from server A to server B, but when i try to transfer RID and PDC roles I recieve errors. 'The transfer of the operations master role cannot be performed because : The requested FSMO operation failed. The current FSMO holder could not be contacted'(RID), 'The computer is a non-replication partner. Do you wish to continue with the transfer'(PDC). The Infrastructure role transfered 'OK', but the change did not actually take place on server A. Server B thinks that it is now got the Infrastructure Role but so does server A. What is going on? As I did not setup this server, or run it live, I don't know how it has been setup.
I'm almost thinking it could be easier to just rebuild everything from scratch.
