Hi Bob,

Please see my answers below:

>Is there an advantage to using corp.domain.com instead of
local.domain.com or domain.local for the active directory
namespace?

There is no significant difference between corp.domain.com and
local.domain.com, both can act as a subdomain of domain.com.
However, domain.local has no relationship with domain.com.

DCHP server in the old domain or will I need to configure a new
one in the new domain? If so can they both exists?

DHCP has nothing to do with user accounts. The information is
configured at the client workstation level.

>Will the users still be able to see printers/file shares in the
old domain once they have been moved to the new domain b/c of the
established trust?

Yes. They can still access the resources in the old domain as
long as you have also migrated the sIDHitory (select the "Migrate
user SIDs to target domains" check box in the "Account Transition
Options" page while migrating user accounts using ADMT). For more

more questions.

Is there an advantage to using corp.domain.com instead of
local.domain.com or domain.local for the active directory
namespace?

Will the migrated users continue to get a DHCP address from the
DCHP server in the old domain or will I need to configure a new
one in the new domain? If so can they both exists?

Will the users still be able to see printers/file shares in the
old domain once they have been moved to the new domain b/c of the
established trust?

Thanks for your help!
