I'm sorry that I'm not sure what your action plan is. Could you
please explain it more clearly?

Are you migrating computer accounts? You don't have to migrate
all computer accounts at one time, you can migrate part of them.

It is recommended to perform the migration in the following order:

Domain Global Group
Domain Local Group
User Account
Computer Account

c.) read the ADMT white paper, but still not sure : the moving
user account
thing, is it a copy or a move (with or without password) ? How
does this
look like, is the old user account left in the NT4 Domain or do
we find em
*only* in the new AD ?

The user accounts are COPIED to the target domain. To enable
password migration, please see the following article:

Generally speaking, domain migrations are complicated tasks.
Please perform complete backup first for recovery purposes. It's
better to test the migration in a lab first.
