What is the OS on another computer?
Does the problem occur if you view event log on other member server?
Did you try the domain administrator account?
In addition, please check if the user account has permission of "access
this computer from network" in Local Security Policy.
As for the login issue, it can be caused by the conflicting in Group Policy
of Windows 2003. You can try to set the values as following on domain level
policy.
Digitally sign client communications (always) - disabled
Digitally sign server communications (always)- disabled
Digitally sign server communications (when possible) - disabled
LAN Manager Authentication Level set to Send LM and NTLM - use NTLMv2
session security if negotiated - (default) send LM & NTLM responses
Secure channel: Digitally encrypt or sign secure channel data (always) -
disabled
Secure channel: Require strong (Windows 2000 or later) session key -
disabled
