Would you please let me know the what registry key you modified?
Now let's make sure the following information.
1. Win98 client is pointing to the same DNS server as Windows 2003.
2. You use Domain Netbios name in the "logon domain" box in Network
properties.
3. Can you logon domain using domain administrator account on Win98 client?
4. Does the problem occur in other Windows 2000/XP client?
