Hi Steven,
We must run the adprep /forestprep command on the schema operations master,
and run the adprep /domainprep command on the infrastructure operations
master of your domain. If your DC holds the two roles, you can run the two
commands on it one by one.
After you update the schema, it is recommend that you upgrade the domain
naming master and PDC to Windows Server 2003 first.
