Thank you for posting here.

I understand that you want to upgrade your Windows Server 2003 from
evaluation version to the full retail.

We suggest you use NTBackup to back up everything on the computer before
you upgrade your computer. You may browse the following web site as

In addition, if possible, you could install another DC as a standby machine.
