Are you wanting to create a whole new domain or keep the ones you have? Here
is what I have done where you want to keep the one you have. Brought the new
server in as a NT4.0 BDC and then promoted it to the PDC of the domain and
then I did a in-place upgrade from NT 4 to 2003 that way you have all users
and computers. If you bring it in as a 2003 DC then you would have to
migrate from the old domain to the new one by that process.
