Hi David,

Thanks for your posting. In W2K or later version, Domain name can be a
Netbois name or a DNS name and DNS name is preferred. In NT, we can only
use Netbios name as Domain name. When you upgrade NT DC to W2K3, you cannot
change the Netbios name, but you will be prompted to provide a DNS name,
which has nothing to do with the Netbios name.
