Hi,

Thanks for your posting. This issue can occur for the following reasons
which is documented in:
308195 HOW TO: Establish Trusts with a Windows NT-Based Domain in Windows
2000
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=308195

Networking issues
-----------
Make sure that both computers are using TCP/IP and that you can connect to
the other computer by using a network utility such as Ping.exe.

Name resolution issues
-----------
Make sure that the Windows NT-based domain controller can resolve the host
name of the Windows 2000-based domain controller, and that the Windows
2000-based domain controller can resolve the NetBIOS name of the Windows
NT-based domain controller. If you cannot resolve the NetBIOS and host
names, create an entry in the Lmhosts file on each domain controller that
specifies the location of the other controller. For additional information
about creating and modifying Lmhosts files, click the article numbers below

Please feel free to let me know if this resolves your problem or if you

>I have been around and around with this issue. I cannot get the NT machine
to see the 2003 box as a PDC. It recognizes it as a domain controller. I
ran netdom to determine this. In any case, when I go to set up trusts, the
NT box says it cannot find the domain controller on the other domain. What
can I do to solve this problem so that I can run ADMT?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
