Hello,
Thank you for your update.
I am afraid that we can only use the NETDOM in this way. Actually, the
difficulties are due to the fact that we must collect a list of the client
machines that need to be migrated.
Besides NETDOM, we can also try another method: changing the domain
membership by using a WMI JoinDomainOrWorkgroup method. You may develope an
application and then run this application on each client to move them to
the new domain.
JoinDomainOrWorkgroup Method
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wmisdk/wmi/
joindomainorworkgroup_method_in_class_win32_computersystem.asp
As this is a DEV related issue, I would like to suggest that you try the
Developer newsgroups:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp
microsoft.public.platformsdk
microsoft.public.win32.programmer.wmic
Or you may ask for developer support:
http://support.microsoft.com/directory/directory/phonepro.asp?sd=msdn
I hope the problem can be resolved in this way. If you would, please post
the final solution back here, and I believe it will benifit many other
administrators who may encounter similar problems.
Thanks for using our newsgroups!
Thanks!
Regards,
Joe Wu
