I am trying to migrate a Windows 2000 SBS server to Windows 2003 SBS Server.
I have followed the instructions carefully and am at the point of testing a
user migration. When it is asking me to pick the source and destination
domain both are listed. I select the appropriate domains and hit next I get
the following error message.
User Account Migration Wizard
The program cannot open the required dialog box because no locations can be
found. Close this message, and try again.
It is then followed by
Error
Failed to initialize object picker for the source domain.
I have added each DNS server to the forwarders list. I can do an NSLOOKUP on
the SBS2000 machine for the SBS2003 domain but cannot do an NSLOOKUP on the
SBS2003 for the SBS2000 domain. Could that be my problem? I can NSLOOKUP the
SBS2000 server name, just not the domain name.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
