Event IDs 1000 & 1202 on NAS unit

I just looked at my event logs for an older Iomega NAS unit and noticed a ton of Event 1000 and 1202:
The Group Policy client-side extension Security was passed flags (17) and returned a failure status code of (5).
Security policies are propagated with warning. 0x5 : Access is denied.
Please look for more details in TroubleShooting section in Security Help.
I did some research and apparently this is related to FRS. The problem is the solutions I have been finding, all reference this problem happening on domain controllers and this is a NAS unit with no AD installation. Any ideas why I may be seeing this on a NAS? Any suggestions on how to resolve it?
