Perhaps you can reset your computer account in Active Directory.
Then unjoin-reboot-join-reboot your computer.

UPDATE

Got in on the 3rd reboot, but I get System Error 1789, the trust relationship has been broken. Am doing a repair with my Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2 CD set to see if that works.

I have an application server running Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard, with SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise and SQL Server 2005 Standard on it.

Due to another problem, I reinstalled the Windows OS. I am now trying to get it back to where it was, so I started with my backup. I put the above server in DSRM mode and restored the System State (Certificate Services, COM+ Class Registration Database, Internet Information Service, Registry, and System Files), telling it to overwrite. I rebooted and no can't login, nor contact it via the DC. From the server, I'm given a dialog box stating that Windows can't contact the domain controller ..... etc. From the DC I get Access Denied for the logon account (Domain Admin).

What did I do wrong?
