In your DNS server create a new zone xxx.com and an A record with name www and the internal ip address.

Hi,

I just found in my win 2003 box, I setup a web site: www.xxx.com, and
I can access from internet, but can't access in the local machine IE
window, after I added the url and IP to host file, then works. Can
someone explains this to me? Please advice. Thanks.
