You are correct, you can't find it in the recycle bin if deleted from
map dirve. I was thinking someone might have deleted the folder
(source) itself from the server.

You will not find it in the recycle bin, if it is deleted from a
mapped drive. It is gone forever.

Maybe another user has moved it instead of copying to another
location, unfortunal you have to search the complete structure.

Use your backup's to restore the file.

If someone deleted it, then check the recycle bin, if it is there,
then
restore it. Maybe it is hidden, make sure you look through your
tools,
folder options and select show hidden files and folders. If folder
can't be
found, then you may have to look for a third party tool to find the
folder.
