everything down for a weekend etc. Is it possible to run a parallel
network with different domain get everything setup and tested and then
rename the domain and point all workstations to this or does anyone know a
better way. Thanks much in advance!!!
Even if you rename the domain the clients will see it as a new domain and
create a new profile on the client computer. New profile to your users =
MAJOR overhaul in their perception.
AD problems most of the time can be tracked down to DNS. Maybe describe the
problems you are having and someone can walk you through cleaning it up, or
confirm that the best way is to rebuild, then provide you with an outline.

BULLDOG BILL :
I have taken a postion with a small company of 50 or so clients recently
site unseen: I have been looking at their one server which is running
Win2003/SQL2005 and acting as a file server as well. The issue is I need
to rebuild the network from scratch as there are many issues requiring
attention but I am not sure on a good way to do this without shutting
everything down for a weekend etc. Is it possible to run a parallel
network with different domain get everything setup and tested and then
rename the domain and point all workstations to this or does anyone know a
better way. Thanks much in advance!!!
