Yes it is a workgroup. Since the data is not sensitive or private so security
is not an issue. I want to setup the share to be easily accessed by these
people.
Ill give the Guest account a try.

Sounds like you are still in a workgroup. I would set up the users on the.
server with the same username and password they use to log onto their
individual workstation. Then grant that user permission to the shared
folder.
Or you could use the less secure method of adding the guest account access
to the shared folder. But like I say, that route is much less secure.

I set up a small network consisting of 3 XP Professional PC's and 1 2003
Server (Standard). I shared out a directory on the server where everyone
could access. I specified "Everyone" group modify access. Whenever someone
tries to access the share over the network it consistantly asks for a
username and password.
Is there a way that I can configure this so that it will not prompt for a
username and password?
I would like people to be able to go right into the share with no
prompting.
Thanks in advance.
