Same on a VM

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Have a similar issue. Server service crashes randomly. I have dev projects (VS 2008) on a network share, bound with TFS, and get a curious error (0x80070057 E_INVALIDARG) when trying to debug after a crash, even if I restart the Server Service and remap the network share.

I'm on a VM btw, so it might not be a hardware problem. Only thing new is that I just changed from a local VM instance to a VM ESX server. The problem never occurred before.

VS 2008 also gives me a "not trusted" warning when opening the project, even though the mapped drive is configured as trusted.

Rebooting heals everything -- until next crash. Any fresh ideas?
