That could be quite lengthy if you're wanting the good as well as the bad. Is
there anything in particular that you are looking for?
Is there a way to pull out all of the events to notepad or something for
easy posting?

Hello Dale,.
Please post the complete event viewer entries. Is this the only DC/DNS in
your domain?

Meinolf,
Thanks for the quick reply.
It is a DC and also DNS server. Running Server 2003 SP1 with all
patches
applied except SP2.
There are 2 other errors that occur at the same time during the reboot
process. This one before it:
Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. (The system
detected a possible attempt to compromise security. Please ensure
that you can contact the server that authenticated you. ). Group
Policy processing aborted.
And this one after it:
Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. Check the
event log for possible messages previously logged by the policy engine
that describes the reason for this.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Hello Dale,
Is it a workstation or domain controller and what OS are you using.
If DC, is it also DNS server? Do you have any other event viewer
errors?

I get this error only after a weekly reboot. Is there a process not
loading up before hand? should I be concerned about this? Is it
updating at other times during the week?

Group policies are being applied. The link revealed nothing to me.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
