Re: Printing Logging Problems

I will assume this Print event 10 in the System Eventlog.

I'll assume the owner and other data is correct and the concern is the
number of pages.

I'll also assume this is a 20 page document not a 1 page document with
copies set to 20.

Hi Everyone.
I don't know if this is the right group to posto to, of not please
redirect
me to the correct one.

My problem is, i have a Windows server that is working as a printing
server.
i have 4 network printers installed there and shared to clients.
the printer is printing correctly and all, but i have set the printers to
log the jobs and what i see is thar windows is giving me wrong logs. for
example, yesterday someone printed 20 pages, and this is windows log:

Document 77, Microsoft Word - EXPLICAÇÕES-anúncios.doc owned by 4420 was
printed on imp-adultos via port IAdultos. Size in bytes: 15564; pages
printed: 1

so i tried some printer managment software, but most of them are dependent
on the spooler to get the information, and since the spooler is giving
wrong
info, the software also gets wrong info.

what's the problem here? can anyone help?
Printer drivers are the most recent.

Thank You!
