Hello Joe,
Do you use the same profile for XP and server 2008? Or did you configure
different profiles on the user properties "profile" and "TS profile" tabs?
Best regards

We installed a 2008 term server on a 2003 network. User has a roaming
profile
and logs into windows xp. the terminal server has a gpo locking it
down
accroding to microsoft good practice guide.
When the user logs into the terminal server the gpo applies and all is
ok.
when the user logs into there xp pc they get the error "cannot access
the
specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate
permissions
to access the item"
when they launch outlook, internet explorer, word, etc. i even tried
to
raise there secuity to admin status but it did not make any change. I
can log
in as another user on the same pc and everything works ok.
Any ideas?
Thanks
.
